![The Vision of Teens ministry at Asian Indian Christian church is to develop a Christ Centred Fun-filled Teen program to Attract, Minister and Lead Teens in our community to accept Jesus as their personal saviour and share the gospel with others. Teen Ministry serves as a means of continued spiritual growth for children ‘graduating’ out of Sunday school classes at the end of grade 8. The goal of the Teen ministry is to provide a strong biblical curriculum for our teens to strengthen their convictions, live their faith through church-related activities and purely fun ones also. SUNDAY | 11:00 AM CHURCH SERVICE The Teens Ministry provides Biblical guidance and teaching to teens on a weekly basis thru structured syllabus, led by qualified Christ-filled teacher who inspire and challenge teens to a closer walk with Jesus Christ. The program uses the “Live Curriculum” which is a four-fold building block approach to teach biblical truths. Each year 4 areas are covered and these are reinforced each year in depth 1. Ground work [foundations to faith] 2. Character and convictions [development of character and habits] 3. Giving, serving & leading [application through practical opportunities] 4. The classes are designed to share Christ and help teens to grow spiritually and encourage teens to actively support and build church activities. Prayer brings victory, deliverance, strength and changes everything - The importance of prayer needs to be impressed in the lives of our Teens and Teen Ministry opens up opportunities for the teens to spend time in prayer. The Monthly teens prayer is held on fourth Saturday of each month at Church. In spite of high school / college commitments, these prayers have been welcomed and well attended. The Teens are encouraged in various Mission and Outreach activities throughout the year. These indoor or outdoor activities are well planned and overseen so that all activates are conducted safely with proper supervision and fun-filled with Christian principles. Teens organize fund raising event to support missions in USA and across the globe. Mission activities include Bake Sale, Soup Kitchen, Nursing Home visit, Singing Carols to non-Christians, distributing Christian tracks and various events. Fun-filled Christian fellowship activities include Hiking, BBQ, Laser tag, Bowling, Volleyball, Basketball and other indoor/outdoor activities. It is our belief our Teens through these mission and fellowship activities share and experience Christian love with fellow-teens in the community.
